Fall Morning Program at Galoop

Fall Morning Program at Galoop

Cecilia Matson Classes, Galoop Baby Classes, Boston, Chestnut Hill, Toddler Classes

Our Fall Morning Program is the cornerstone of Galoop Children’s Classes. Taking place five days per week, the Morning Program offers the flexibility of coming in 2, 3 or 5 days a week depending on your registration choice, and provides children 6 months to 3.5 years a preschool-like setting but with the addition of parent or caregiver participation. Every day, children have the opportunity to take part in arts and crafts, dramatic play, STEM activities, sensory play, music, circle time and more. In addition, the program is bilingual; two days per week there’s an option to attend circle time in Spanish and, if you choose to, Cecilia, our director and main teacher, can interact with your child in Spanish!

The concept of our Morning Program is to provide a place for children to socialize and learn, before they head off to a school-aged drop-off program. There are many benefits to caregiver participation in early childhood education, but this concept also benefits the parent or caregiver themselves. The program provides an opportunity for the adults, who would normally be primarily with a child all day, a chance to socialize with other parents, and learn from Cecilia, director of the program and early childhood and parenting expert. Questions are welcomed, and discussions are nurtured.

A main difference of Galoop is that the program runs from 9am to 12pm every day. Unlike most toddler classes with caregiver participation, you get way more than 45 minutes, and there is no pressure to arrive right at 9am or stay for the whole day. Come and play for as long as makes sense for you that day, with no stress to arrive by a certain time or to feel like you missed most of the class if you didn’t get out the door when planned or your child falls asleep on the way there and sleeps through the first 20 minutes of class.

The most important part about this program though is that it is open every day of the week, meaning you don’t have to go somewhere new every day to keep your child occupied. Gone are the days of having to go to music class one day and art class another, all at different times and locations and with different instructors. With Galoop, you get to take part in all the enrichment, but in a way that forms a steady and comfortable routine that is more conducive to your child’s learning and confidence.

The Morning Program is available for registration for either the Fall Session, running from September 9 through December 20, or for the whole Academic Year Session, which runs from September 9 through June 26.  Get a 10 percent discount and lock in your preferred days of the week and don’t worry about re-registering if you know you’ll be attending all year long. Payment plans are available, and you can register right online.
